This 1973 Kawasaki Z1 is the benefactor of a meticulous mechanical and cosmetic restoration to its original specifications, professionally tuned by a licensed mechanic and a professionally rebuilt 903cc inline 4-cylinder engine with re-bored powerplant, rebuilt cylinder heads, new gaskets and seals, black ceramic coating on engine and four rebuilt Mikuni carburetors. The original brown and orange paint scheme is accentuated by new badges and set off a powder-coated frame, swing arm, front hub, side stand, center stand, triple trees, headlight bucket, gauge cones, dash bracket and tail light bracket. Shining around that are the re-chromed rear brake lever and grab bar, polished aluminum front fork legs, rear hub, valve cover and engine side covers. The refurbished Z1 also features gauges professionally rebuilt by Z-Resto (set to 0000), a new seat, foot pegs, handlebars, switches, mirrors, fuel tank, side covers, air box, rear and front fenders, dash, horn, grips, turn signals stem to stern, reflectors, foot pegs, shift lever, kick-start arm and new tail section from Doremi that was painted in Japan. Electrically, it has a new Dyna S ignition, Dyna coils, Dyna plug wires and wiring harness. Up front are new fork tubes, fork oil, fork ears and trim with all chrome hardware, tapered steering head bearings, and behind there are new chain and sprockets, chain guard and cables, and swingarm roller bearings. Altogether, this Z1 is riding on new front and rear wheels from the United Kingdom with new tires, tubes, spokes, wheel bearings and brake parts. A new complete exhaust with hardware from Z1 Parts finishes things up for this very restored 1973 Kawasaki Z1 bike with original frame (no. Z1F-07125) and matching-engine number (Z1E-07135) in running condition. T219 1973 Kawasaki Z1
