Launched in 2020, the current edition of Ford’s Shelby GT500 took the performance-car world by storm with 760 HP and explosive performance including 0-60 MPH acceleration in 3.5 seconds, all the way up to 180 MPH. Stopping power is incredible to match the GT500’s forward urge with 16.5-inch front and 14.6-inch rear ventilated disc brakes mounting red-painted Brembo calipers. Other technical highlights include independent rear suspension, Ford’s MagneRide damping system, adjustable power-assisted steering and five driver-selectable modes including Normal, Sport, Track, Drag and Weather settings. Offered with 1,425 miles, this electrifying 2021 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 features very rare Twister Orange tint coat paint. In addition to the supercharged 5.2L/760 HP V-8 engine and Tremec 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters, the GT500 includes the Technology Package with a Bang and Olufsen 12-speaker sound system, blind spot and cross-traffic alert, voice-activated touch-screen navigation and the Handling Package. Exposed carbon fiber I/P and vinyl over-the top and side striping enhance the GT500’s intentions. Other highlights include a Torsen 3.73 differential, Brembo disc brakes, the MagneRide damping system and electronic power-assisted steering, plus an engine oil cooler and independent rear suspension. Comfort and convenience are enhanced by the tilt and telescopic steering column, dual-zone climate control, an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control and a center console with armrest.
