There is a saying, “you can’t have it all.” With this 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, however, one may come pretty close. This notorious “sorry, not sorry” Dodge created a legacy from day one, and the example here has had just one owner and been driven a mere 327 miles. Importantly, all the cool stuff is coming with it, including the Demon crate with jack, tools and wheels, premium interior seating, the Welcome Kit including the letter and build sheet, the window sticker, car cover, a Mopar battery manager and books and manuals. Serial tagged as No. 1,796 of 3,300 produced, this is how the legend was made. Underneath the unique hood is a supercharged 6.2L/840 HP Hemi V-8 engine, which pushed the car down into the 9-second zone under the right conditions. Behind that is the 8-speed automatic transmission and performance differential. Both quick performance and street driving was possible due to the computerized suspension that included the three-mode adaptive damping with Drag Mode, Launch Assist and a factory transbrake. The SRT Power Chiller and After-Run Cooler took care of engine cooling, while 4-wheel Brembo brakes help slow it down. The exterior is in Pitch Black with matched black, heated and ventilated front seats (power adjustable six-way driver and four-way passenger), a leather rear seat and the Comfort Audio Group’s 18-speaker audio system with Harman Kardon GreenEdge amplifier and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. There is a power tilt and telescopic column with a heated Wildwheel Alcantara steering wheel, Parkview rear back-up camera, floor mats and red seatbelts. Outside are the red Demon logos, illuminated Air Catcher headlamps, widebody fender flares, matching 18x11 aluminum wheels and factory drag radial tires. The special racer duffle bag, brake pads and floor pedal are still boxed. There were a lot of people who wanted one and could not get it and others who bought them stripped down and raced them. For those who want it all, this 840 HP, 327-mile, one-owner SRT Demon with great extras is an opportunity to come and get it.
