The legacy created by the 2018 Dodge SRT Demon will likely always remain part of the car culture, being one of the most in-your-face statements to ever come from any manufacturer. Add in this car’s TorRed paint and the limited one-season production in the Demon release, and this beautiful Mopar becomes even more desirable. The serialized dash plaque denotes this as Demon No. 0496 of the 3,300-unit run, and its odometer reads 5,215 miles, showing it is ready to be enjoyed. The thrill begins with its supercharged 6.2L Hemi V-8 engine rated at 840 HP and 770 lb-ft of torque beneath the exclusive-to-the-Demon Air Grabber hood. Equipped with the SRT Power Chiller, this car came with the TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission with factory transbrake and a limited- slip differential, plus the special adjustable suspension with Drag Mode, Line Lock, Launch Control with Launch Assist, and the lightweight Brembo caliper-equipped braking system. Unmistakable with its aggressive stance, the car features the Widebody fender flares, illuminated Air Catcher headlamps, functional front and rear spoilers, and special Demon insignia as its exterior décor. Inside, this four-passenger example is well-optioned thanks to Customer Preferred Package 26M. There is a Harman Kardon 18-speaker premium audio system with subwoofer and amplifier, Uconnect 8.4-inch display panel featuring navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as adjustability via the SRT Performance Pages driving modes. Comfort for driver and passengers includes the Demon- emblemed heated and ventilated front seats, with a six-way power driver’s seat with four-way power lumbar, the 60/40 split folding rear seat, power mirrors, and paddle-shift capability on its power tilt and telescopic steering column with Wildwheel Alcantara steering wheel. There are also bright pedals and daytime running lights. Of course, the action is traction, and to that end, SRT developed the 18x11-inch Hole Shot aluminum wheels, which are black with chrome lugs, and then equipped those with Nitto tires. The Challenger is now history, but this Demon offers an opportunity to enjoy what many still consider the ultimate “sorry, not sorry” muscle car.
