There have been a good number of special SRT-designed Dodge packages released during the nearly two decades of availability, and one of the most notable may well have been this one, named the “Super Stock.” In 2021, there were only 559 of these cars built, and the vehicle here has only been driven 27 miles since delivery. The Super Stock was more akin to the Demon with regards to its traction and performance technology, beginning with the supercharged 6.2L/807 HP Hemi V-8 engine underhood. For all but the most jaded, over 800 HP will suffice, which here is backed by the durable TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission with both paddle shifter and floor shift options. The car also features a Line lock, the anti-spin differential, launch control with launch assist, the After-run Chiller, the unique Super Stock suspension layout, and lightweight all-aluminum Brembo 4-piston fixed brake calipers. The idea behind this concept was a special yet streetable drag racer. Quick? How about 0-60 in 3.25 seconds, a 10.5-second at 131 MPH “as released” quarter-mile time, and the tire-limited top speed of 168 MPH? The standout here is the black body with silver racing stripes, Widebody fender flares, and that name Super Stock is seen … nowhere. The car is upscale inside, with a power sunroof, red ventilated front seats, a power tilt and telescopic steering column and remote start system. A Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen works with the ParkView rearview camera, audio adjustment and performance modes, and there are also power multifunction mirrors with manual fold-away, blind spot and rear cross-path detection, and a deluxe security alarm. Outside are the HID headlamps, spoiler package, rear valance exhaust exits, twin-scoop hood, black Mopar hood pins, and a set of 18x11-inch aluminum wheels with 315/40R18 drag radial tires on all four corners. Ready to go, the truth is that the 2021 Super Stock is actually more limited in production than some of the Last Call models.
