Kane’s work has been commissioned by Vintage Motorsport, Monterey Historic Races, the Fangio Museum and Disney, to name a few, and he’s designed websites for Stirling Moss, Phil Hill and others. Joining the Mecum team in 2007, Kane is Mecum’s most seasoned author. He resides in the tiny fishing village of Steveston, British Columbia, with his high school sweetheart, Dee. BRIAN THALHAMMER Brian is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University – Chicago, where he earned a B.A. in English. With a background in project proposals and medical grant writing, Brian utilizes his skills for attention to detail as a copy editor and contributing writer for Mecum Auctions. When he isn’t working on Mecum Magazine, you can find Brian restoring classic cars, enjoying the outdoors and working on his next creative writing project. An awarded fiction writer and novelist, Brian has two published books that were partly inspired by his passion for classic automobiles and those who find joy in them. Following a 10-year stint in banking and financial services during the 1990s and 2000s, Dave was eventually blessed to find his true path in the collector-car business during 2008 as a writer, and he has never looked back. KELLEN OLSHEFSKI Before joining the Mecum team in the latter part of 2016, Kellen held several positions, from correspondent to editor, at a Southeast Wisconsin newsgroup. On top of serving as a copy editor at Mecum Auctions, Kellen additionally puts his writing experience to use through contributing feature articles and promotional copy.
