Besides writing for Mecum, Bill also works at a restoration shop specializing in high- end European autos. Bill is the quintessential car guy having grown up in Southern California and spending his time at Riverside Raceway, Orange County International Raceway, Ascot Speedway and his local stoplight Grand Prix. He favors Porsches and American muscle—but truly loves all cars. CHELSEY HINSENKAMP Chelsey holds a B.A. in journalism and is the managing editor of Mecum Magazine. She has spent the last 9 years carefully curating, crafting and editing Mecum’s feature articles, press releases and promotional copy, and with background in the newspaper industry, Chelsey has used her expertise to help grow Mecum Magazine from a 32-page newsletter into the professional publication it is today. A proud mother of four, she enjoys the great outdoors, reading and pedaling around on her mountain bike. With a background in project proposals and medical grant writing, Brian utilizes his skills for attention to detail as a copy editor and contributing writer for Mecum Auctions. When he isn’t working on Mecum Magazine, you can find Brian restoring classic cars, enjoying the outdoors and working on his next creative writing project. An awarded fiction writer and novelist, Brian has two published books that were partly inspired by his passion for classic automobiles and those who find joy in them. KANE ROGERS An accomplished automotive writer, historian and artist, Kane started as a licensed mechanic working fleet maintenance, later studying graphic arts, illustration and earning a degree in creative writing and editing. Kane’s work has been commissioned by Vintage Motorsport, Monterey Historic Races, the Fangio Museum and Disney, to name a few, and he’s designed websites for Stirling Moss, Phil Hill and others. Joining the Mecum team in 2007, Kane is Mecum’s most seasoned author.
